Prologue and day 1
Read what made me do this. What was I thinking? And follow me on the first stage of this journey: my flight to Singapore and cycling into Malaysia.
Malaysia
885 kilometers from Johor Bahru on the border with Singapore in the south, to Kota Bahru in the north near the Thai frontier. Getting used to cycling in the tropics. The heat and the often chaotic traffic. But always friendly people.
Country number three. I’m used to the heat by now (as far as that is possible). I have a long ride still ahead of me. The next two months I’ll be in Thailand. What will this country bring me?
